Tales of Bookselling at Verey Books: the strange and unexpected…

I genuinely wondered if we would sell a book; in our first month we sold 882! Our best seller is the lovely Wild Fell by  Lee Schofield, followed closely by Suzanna Cruickshank’s Wild Swimming. Our best selling novel is Where the Crawfads Sing by Delia Owens. Natural History is our best selling category with The Salt Path by Raynor Winn leading the way. The bestselling children’s book is Cat Kid Comic Club Volume 2 by George Beard. Tied on fifth place with seven copies sold of each is This Is Going to Hurt by Adam Kay, The Midlife Cyclist by Phil Cavell, Fox and I by Catherine Raven, and Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights! Who knew?

Thank you all so much for your support.
