Coffee & Cake

So you may have heard that while we are absolutely passionate about books, we also appreciate the importance of coffee and cake. To that end, we’ve been working with 1863’s award-winning head chef to help us get our coffee and cake offering just right.

We’re delighted to serve you excellent coffee from Rinaldo’s Speciality Coffee of Kendal, tea from award-winning Tea Pigs and yummy cakes and bakes from the Ginger Bakers; think raspberry and almond blondies, lemon and polenta or carrot and ginger cake bakes, and of course, chocolate brownies.

For smaller people, we’ve got Cawston’s juices, fresh milk and babyccinos – oh and a cookie for good measure.
